Who doesn’t love a good Chicken Pie? At Tummy Love Food Co., we’ve perfected this classic comfort dish. Made with care, it takes us 2 to 3 days to create the perfect pie—and it’s worth every second! You can find it as a staple of our Munch & Crunch Station at CanD’s Kitchen.
How We Make It
We start by simmering bone-in chicken with fresh vegetables and seasonings in a stockpot. Once the chicken is cooked, we remove it and use the remaining liquid to create a rich, flavourful stock. The chicken is then deboned, carved, and sautéed with onions in a blend of butter and garlic olive oil.
We keep the flavour pure—no cream, no mushrooms—just simple chicken goodness. Our secret seasoning mix includes a touch of cloves, nutmeg, and salt, adding depth to every bite.
Next, we assemble the pie with a crisp puff pastry crust. Each pie is carefully decorated and frozen unbaked, ensuring that the pastry stays light and the filling stays moist when you bake it at home.
Instructions & Serving Suggestions
To bake, thaw the pie completely, then pop it into a preheated oven at 180°C. Bake until golden and crispy. Serve with crispy fries and a fresh Greek salad for a satisfying meal.
