How We Make It
We begin by gently frying finely diced onions to bring out their natural sweetness. This forms the perfect base for the rich, savoury flavours that follow. We then add lean ground beef and brown it to perfection before seasoning it with our signature blend of Cape Malay spices.

Our Bobotie includes turmeric, paprika, cumin, coriander, Worcestershire sauce, and chutney—plus a few secret additions for extra depth. Once the flavours have fully developed, we stir in flaked almonds and plump raisins. Each portion is topped with a smooth egg custard, pre-baked, and then flash-frozen for convenience.

Serving Suggestion
