Orange Marmalade

Description

Orange Marmalade should not just be bitter.  You should be able to taste the oranges, the flavours of winter’s past.  That was our aim when we started developing our orange marmalade.

Background

The quest for the perfect Marmalade started when Chef Blanche‘s aunt sent us a few jars of her home-made marmalade.  It was delicious!  We begged, borrowed, and stole her recipe and tried it for ourselves.  Yes, it is quite a process, but the end product was absolutely worth it.

As per usual, we were happy with the marmalade, but we wanted to put our own stamp on it.  So we tinkered and experimented until it was what we wanted to present to our clients.  Their feedback was universally positive.  We have since developed a whole range of jams, see the Jam section to view our whole range.

How to use

Of course, Orange Marmalade is great on a piece of toast.  It is more versatile than just to use on toast.  Turn a normal chocolate cake into an orange chocolate cake, by drizzling it between the layers and on top.  Otherwise, bake our Victorian Sponge with chocolate ganache and orange marmalade drizzle.  Visit recipe.
